Modular Power Unit — Turnkey Power and Infrastructure Solution
SSN Makina delivers your data center’s entire module — from power distribution to cooling, fire safety, monitoring, and physical security — as a single, factory-integrated, fully tested product certified to U.S. standards. The entire process is managed under one responsible party, with a single point of contact.
SSN Makina A.Ş. — Engineering, manufacturing, and field integration under one roof
What sets us apart
The same equipment can be assembled in many different ways — what sets us apart is delivering it from a single source, under one responsibility, fully tested from start to finish.
Single responsible party, turnkey
Design, manufacturing, testing, and field integration are all managed under one roof — no need to coordinate multiple suppliers.
The entire module is designed with UL 2755 in mind
The goal is evaluation of the whole module as a single product, not piecemeal component certification.
N+1 redundant architecture
Redundancy in the cooling and power systems ensures uninterrupted operation.
100% factory tested
Full functional testing is completed before shipment, minimizing the time spent on site.
Compliance with multiple U.S. standards in a single package
UL, NFPA, ASCE, and IEEE requirements are met within a single delivery, not separately.
Predictable delivery schedule
Factory prefabrication shortens on-site time and clarifies the project schedule.
Our scope of delivery
The module — with all its subsystems, from main electrical distribution to physical security — is designed, manufactured, and tested fully prefabricated at the factory, then commissioned on site.
Main distribution panel
Main switchgear with transformer and generator inputs, UPS, and critical load distribution
UPS and energy storage
Double-conversion UPS and battery bank, synchronization and bypass system
Cooling system
N+1 redundant hydronic cooling, full heat load capacity
Fire safety
Detection and suppression system, integrated with the building fire system
Monitoring and automation
BMS/DCIM integration, real-time status and alarm monitoring
Physical security
Access control, door sensors, and video surveillance system
Design standard for below-the-hook lifting devices and lifting points
IEEE standards
Short-circuit current and protection coordination calculations
3D layout of the module
The module is shipped to site as a single piece and is lifted from above by crane using its 4 corner lifting points, compliant with ISO 1496-1 / ISO 1161; forklift pockets compliant with ISO 3874 are built into the chassis for transport and on-site handling. There is no separate external connection for the load bank — this connection is located on the MSB's own internal busbar, inside the container.
Representative engineering render — approximate exterior dimensions are based on a standard 40 ft high-cube container; exact dimensions and equipment models will be determined in the engineering drawings.
Interior layout — cutaway view
Engineering cutaway with the long side wall removed: shows the layout of all subsystems — from cooling units and battery racks to power conversion systems (PCS) and the main distribution panel — along with internal busbar routing and airflow direction. This image is representative; equipment dimensions and power values are schematic and do not represent actual figures.

Connection interfaces
All input/output points are prepared and tested at the factory; only standard connection work is performed on site — no hot work or wet work is required. The electrical/mechanical rating and connection method for each interface is specified below.
Electrical interfaces
Transformer → MSB480V AC, 4000A — connects via busbar/cable lug to a factory-prepared terminal
Generator → MSB480V AC, 4000A — connects via busbar/cable lug to a factory-prepared terminal
Load bank connection point480V AC, 4000A — not a separate external input; supplied from inside the container via the MSB's own internal busbar
Main cooling line2 independent connections — flanged pipe connection, on the exterior wall
Fire suppression connectionFlanged / grooved connection on the exterior wall; internal distribution via a ceiling-mounted manifold and nozzles
Ventilation / emergency exhaustSized per calculation, louvered outlet on the exterior wall
Drainage / condensateDischarged outside the module at floor level
Forklift / lifting pointsISO 3874 (forklift pockets), ISO 1496-1 / ISO 1161 (lifting points)
Automation and monitoring
Local network / Modbus TCPBMS and DCIM integration — via network interface
Fire alarm terminalDry contact / addressable connection to the central fire panel
Access control / CCTVIntegration via terminal box / network interface
Dry contact alarmsFire, leak, UPS status, door open/closed signal
Siemens
One of the brands we work with directly for main distribution, protection, and automation equipment
Schneider Electric
One of the brands we work with directly for switchgear, UPS, and monitoring systems
Eaton
One of the brands we work with directly for power distribution and protection equipment
Equipment brand/model selection is made from among these three brands based on the project specification and customer preference; turnkey responsibility rests with SSN Makina in all cases.
